    Short bio

    Gianluca Schiavo is a researcher at Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) in the i3 unit of the Digital Society center and an affiliate faculty member at the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Science at the University of Trento. He received his MSc in Experimental Psychology from the University of Padova and his PhD degree in Cognitive Science from the University of Trento. He has been a visiting researcher at the Helsinki Institute for Information Technology and at Technical University of Berlin.

    Research topics

    His primary research area is Human-Computer Interaction, specifically Computer-Supported Cooperative Work and Social Computing. His research focuses on the design, development, and evaluation of intelligent, collaborative and inclusive technology for social good. His current research is at the boundary of HCI and artificial intelligence to explore issues surrounding AI literacy and human-AI interaction, especially in the educational domain.
